Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks in relevant subject (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. However, candidates without NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. will only be considered, if no candidate with above qualification is/are available
How to apply ( आवेदन कैसे करे ) : The prescribed application forms may be downloaded from the University web site www.unimysore.ac.in Processing fee of Rs. 200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) through Demand Draft (non-refundable) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Mysore, Mysore, shall be submitted along with the filled in applications. Postal orders, money orders and cheques will not be accepted. OR Processing fees may be credited at any branch of the State Bank of India to the Head of Account “Mysore University Funds-General Revenue Account” specifying in the challan “Fee towards Processing charges for the guest faculty in Physics. The filled application form should be submitted to the Chairman, Department of studies in Physics, Manasagangothri, Mysore, on or before 27-01-2018 (upto 5.00 pm).
General instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : Interview will be held on 01-02-2018 at 11:30 AM in Syndicate Chamber, Crawford Hall, University of Mysore. No separate interview intimation will be sent. Therefore, the candidates who have applied should watch website regularly for any further updates. During the interview, candidates may have to give lecture of about 10-15 minutes on a given topic before the committee. Preference will be given to such candidates with teaching experience in the University. Reservation roster will be followed as per Government Orders at the time of making appointments as per this Notification.
