Pay Scale: Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 75,000 /- with 3% Annual increment on completion of one year continuous service. All Pilotage related Allowances will be paid at par with regular Pilots.
Desirable Qualifications: Must be holding a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India.
Experience Requirements: One year post qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of a Foreign Going Ship.

Desirable Qualifications:
(a) Must be holding Master in Business Administration Certificate
(b) Completed a course on computer familiarization and able to enter data in computer
(c) Must be holding a managerial post in any Shipping Agencies for more than five years
Responsibilities / Job Description: The job will entail visiting vessels lying in Port and interacting with the crew and Officers of the vessels on the facilities available in the Port for leisure and for entertainment. It will also entail arranging friendly matches with crews of different vessels and with local teams as per convenience. He should be fluent in English and should have a friendly demeanour as it requires interaction with crews of different nationalities in Paradip Port. If required, it would also entail interaction with the vessel’s agents in Port in order to sort out some of the problems faced by the crew to whatever extent is possible.
