Education Requirements: B.Tech /BE/ MSc/MCA or BSc with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Engineering with 3 years’ experience.
Experience Requirements: 10+2 with 3 years Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology and 3 years of relevant experience. Or, B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) with 2 years of relevant experience. Or, Bachelor’s Degree in Science with PGDCA or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience. Or, Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information technology. Candidates with experience in PC maintenance / hardware and network maintenance will be given preference.

How To Apply:
1. A non- refundable/ non-transferrable application fee of `500/- (for General/ OBC candidates) and `250/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates) is to be paid through Demand Draft only drawn in favour of the “Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and payable at Guwahati. Other mode of payment of application fee shall not be accepted. Candidates are required to write their name and address overleaf the Demand Draft. No application fee is required for internal candidates.
2. Candidates will be required to submit separate application form with separate application fee for each Department/ Centre clearly mentioning the Department/ Centre in the application form. Application without the mention of Department/ Centre will be treated as incomplete application and are liable to rejection.
3. Reservation (UR- 04, ST- 01, OBC- 02), Total 07 posts.
4. Relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/ PwD/Ex-Serviceman will be as per GOI rules. For internal candidates, minimum requirements pertaining to age may not be insisted upon.
5. Persons employed in Govt./Semi Govt. Organisations /Autonomous Bodies must submit their applications through their employers.
6. Institute reserves the right to hold a written test and/or skill test, if necessary to shortlist the candidates and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.
7. Degrees as referred above are those which have been awarded by a recognized University / Institution.
8. Mere fulfillment of the minimum qualification will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for a written test/skill test/interview.
9. The Institute also reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof. Decision of the Institute will be final and binding in this regard.
10. Prescribed application form is available in the Institute website www.iitg.ernet.in or www.iitg.ac.in. Application in the prescribed form (hard copy only) will be considered.
11. Incomplete applications or application without self-attested copies of certificates or without application fee (if applicable) or applications received after the last date are liable to rejection.
12. Application forms are to be submitted in an A4 sized envelope super scribing the name of the post applied for and clearly mentioning the Department/Centre along with Advertisement No. and date.
13. Any dispute with regard to the selection/recruitment process will be subject to Courts/Tribunals having jurisdiction over Guwahati.
14. Last date for receipt of completed application forms is 23.11.2015.
15. Canvassing in any form/bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post. “INTERIM ENQUIRY WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED”.

Junior Technical Superintendent (Design)

Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years working experience in educational institute environment.
Qualifications: Knowledge of purchase procedure of Central Government would be added advantage.
Age Limit: 30 Years
