Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Post Graduate (M.A/M.Sc) in Geography/Geology/ Environmental Sciences/Geo-informatics/ Soil Science /M.Tech in Remote sensing
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Knowledge and working experience of Digital Image processing and GIS based mapping using ARC/GIS and ERDAS software.Experience in field survey and mapping of land degradation or desertification
