The Salary Package for Gliding Instructor is 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- pre-revised.
The revised pay scale of Rs. 53100/- to Rs. 167800/- in Level 9 in the Pay Matrix as 7th CPC.
The Salary Package for Assistant Professor is 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/-(PB-3) + Rs. 6,000/- (Academic Grade Pay).

Education Qualification for UPSC 2018 Gliding instructor:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 from any board with Physics and Mathematics
The candidate is required to have 200 hours of experience on glider as a Pilot in command including 50 hours in dual instructional flyingas Instructor.
One can also have Commercial Pilot’s License with minimum of 50 hours experience on glider as Pilot in Command of which 25 hours in dual instructional flying as Instructor.
Passed First Class Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Education Qualification for UPSC 2018 Assistant Professor:
Candidate must have experienced in the field of Teaching, research, industrial or professional of mechanical branch of Engineering and Technology in a reputed organization
The candidate will be required to conduct classes, develop curriculum, and prepare teaching resources material, student guidance, counseling and to assist students in Laboratory work.
The candidate will be required to work in the area of research and consultancy as well as administrative duties as required by the Director/Head of Department.
UPSC 2018 Age Limit:
The age limit for the UPSC 2018 required for the posts of Gliding Instructor and Assistant Professor is 35 years.
UPSC 2018 Application Fee:
The application fee for the UPSC 2018 Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only for the post of Gliding Instructor and Assistant Professor. The eligible candidates can pay the application fee by either offline or online mode.
Offline Mode: Fee can be submitted in any branch of the SBI by cash.
