Pay scale ( वेतन ) : For initial two years Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated) and in third year Rs.28,000/- per month (consolidated) as SRF upon redesignation by committee
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : M.Sc. with 55 % marks in Horticulture/Fruit Science/Postharvest Technology from UGCrecognized university.
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : NET and experience in horticultural/fruit science/postharvest/irradiation technology research.

The selected JRF can avail leave as per regulations of Sikkim University and funding agency. 3. The progress of the candidate will be evaluated on half yearly basis and continuation will be extended subject to the satisfactory performance.
