Scientific Officer (Scaling-up)

Hiring Organisation: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT)

Responsibilities:

1. To undertake participatory development research for integrating and testing technologies in partnership with farmers

2. Build network of partners, development investors and assist the country coordinator/IDC director in mobilizing the resources for scaling-up research

3. Prepare reports of various trials and help the country coordinator/ IDC Director for preparing the project proposals targeting to specific countries

4. To plan, conduct on-farm trials and analyze the data for writing the documents

Education Requirements: MSc in Agriculture/Horticulture with excellent academic background

Experience Requirements: At least five years of experience in scaling-up research or participatory research for development

Desirable Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication
