Pay Scale: (A) The selected candidate from State PSUs / Central PSUs shall be placed in the Running Pay Band PB-4 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs.10000/- OR their present drawn salary, whichever is higher, plus other benefits as admissible. (B) The selected candidate from Central Govt / All lndia Services shall be given their present drawn salary plus other benefits as admissible. (C) Selected candidate from Private Sector shall be placed in PB-4 with GP Rs. 10,000/- OR their present drawn salary, whichever is higher, plus other benefits as admissible.
(A) The applicant should be a graduate from a recognized university/institution with good academic record. He should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute. Persons with Technical /MBA qualifications and having familiarity with Finance / Marketing / Production / Project Management will have added advantage. Experience in power generation Industry is desirable.
(B) In addition, the applicant shall be a person who has experience of and shown capacity in: - (i) Design, construction, operation and maintenance of generating stations; (ii) Transmission and supply of electricity; (iii) Applied economics; (iv) Organizing workers; (v) Industrial, commercial or financial matters; or (vi) Administration in a Government Department or other establishment.
(C) The officers working in the State PSUs / Central PSUs should, on the date of advertisement, be working at least in the post of Chief Engineer / Whole Time Director or equivalent post in an organization of the size and repute as that of RVUN.
(D) Officers of the Central Government / State Government / All India Services should, on the date of application, be in the pay-scale / rank of the level of Joint Secretary in Government of India / Secretary in Government of Rajasthan or higher.
(E) Private Sector applicants should possess at least 25 years of post qualification experience in an organization of the size and repute as that of RVUN, out of which at least 3 years should be at a CEO level.
Responsibilities / Job Description: The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and accountable to its Board of Directors and Government. He is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters. Government of Rajasthan has decided to part disinvest the RVUNL and so one of the main tasks of the CMD will be to ensure part disinvestment/disinvestment of some of the plant of RVUNL. The job is based in Jaipur.
Age Limit: shall be minimum 45 years and maximum 58 years. However, for the working employees of RVUN, the maximum age limit will be 60 years. The age of superannuation is 60 years.
