Pay Scale (Salary): Rs. 75,000-1,00,000/- (REVISED)

Educational Requirements: The incumbent should possess engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with good academic record.

Desirable Qualifications: Applicants holding MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in management or Degree in Mechanical Engineering will have an added advantage. Minimum qualification can be relaxed in the case of internal candidates and government officers with relevant and adequate background and experience.

Experience Requirements: He should possess adequate technical/operational experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute, out of which at least two years in last ten years should have been in consultancy/logistics/infrastructure sector. Experience in services associated with operation and maintenance of railway rolling stock of varied suspension system, axle loads and speeds on different rail gauges; industrial engineering practices and new technologies in rolling stock maintenance, is desirable.
