Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : MBBS or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Public Health or a closely related field
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : MD/ PhD in related subject Published Research Work in related fields
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : Candidates should have more than 10 years post-qualification experience of conducting Research (preferably within Government/ International Development Agency), handling Research Team and managing Research Projects with demonstrated knowledge of research methodologies, research tools and strong writing skills. Research experience in Nutrition and Health sector and knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software like STATA/SPSS/R will be preferred. S/he must be ready to conduct field visits as per requirement.
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :Supervising/conduct the work of Research & Evidence Cell under the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for the National Nutrition Mission in conducting secondary research, synthesising evidences and managing field research in areas of Nutrition and Health for meeting the objectives of National Nutrition Mission (NNM).
