Salary: INR Salary will be negotiable based on expertise and experience. The Director of the Centre will be reporting to the Executive Director, MSSRF.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. Degree with 10 Years of Experience or Masters Degree with 15 Years of Experience in the area Basic/ Applied Science, Agriculture, Social Science and Rural Development. The candidate should have adequate experience and expertise in environmentally sustainable development and management of multi disciplinary programs. He/she should have published work, possess sound leadership and interpersonal communication skills and ability to raise funding support, besides knowledge of basic administrative procedures. Experience in one or more of the following areas: • Biodiversity conservation and natural resource management • Agricultural Extension and/or Rural Development • Networking, working with stakeholder groups/organizations • Management and governance of grassroots organizations • Banking, credit, financial inclusion and micro-finance • Gender dimension of rural development • Value chain and marketing

Age Limit: Preferably 45-55 years.
