General Information:

1. The candidate must be an Indian national.

2. It will be open to the University not to fill up any of the posts now advertised.

3. The service conditions and other terms of appointment shall be subject to the approval of the Syndicate of the Alagappa University.

4. Defective and incomplete applications and those with wrong or false information will be rejected.

5. Persons who are already working in State or Central Government or any other organization should send their applications through proper channel. Any delay in sending the applications through proper channel is not the responsibility of the University. Advance copies of the applications, reaching the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630 003 within the prescribed time limit shall be entertained provided the original application forwarded through proper channel reaches this Office before the candidates are called for interview.

6. Any attempt by the candidate, either directly or indirectly to influence the Selection Committee or any other authorities of the University will disqualify the candidate for the post.

7. Late applications will not be taken into consideration and the University will not be responsible for any delay in transit.

8. Filled-in applications should reach the office of “The Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi 630 003” on or before 08.01.2016 (Friday).

Library Assistant

Salary: PB1: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Rs.2400 GP

Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in any subject with Certificate in Library Science.

Experience Requirements: Three years working experience in any recognized Library.

Qualifications: Typewriting lower grade in English and Tamil
