Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Candidate must have a first class MA degree, in the humanities/ social sciences/ library science/ museology etc. from a reputed university. The candidate must have knowledge of printing and publishing in Bengal. The candidate should be fluent in English and Bengali, and should have experience of creating and maintaining online sites, databases etc
Desirable qualifications (Desi वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Courses taken in book history/ bibliography/ palaeography/ archiving/ conservation/ piublishing; experience in digitising and creating metadata
