Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Commensurate with post-Ph.D. research experience of the candidate, in the range of Rs. 36000 - Rs. 40000 (+ HRA) per month, and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 32000. Those who have submitted their thesis and awaiting final defense will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 32000 +HRA.
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : A PhD in Physics with Nuclear Physics specialization and at least two publications in peer-reviewed research journals (of which at least one should be as first author)
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : The candidate should have experience in Experimental Nuclear Physics research at both accelerator-based facilities and in offline measurements. He/she should be skilled in the use of semiconductor and scintillation nuclear radiation detectors and measurement techniques. Detailed knowledge and proficiency in data analysis and related programming languages is desirable.
