Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Pay Band- 4 of Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10000/- + NPA and other usual allowances, admissible as per Central Government Rules, by deputation/short term contract for a tenure of 5 years or till the incumbent attains the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : 1. PG Degree in Siddha included in the 2nd Schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 2. Enrolment in the Central/ State Register of Indian Medicine. 3. 18 years experience in a Group 'A' level post having: (i) a minimum three years' regular service in a post in PB-4 with GP of Rs.8700/- or equivalent/ corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post. OR (ii) eight years' regular service in a post in PB-3 with GP of Rs.7600/- or equivalent/ corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post.
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : 1. Adequate experience in teaching and/or research in Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies. 2. Administrative experience in a responsible post in Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies. 3. Ph.D qualification in Siddha
