Desirable Qualifications: i) M. Sc in Bioinformatics or Systems Biology with NET, GATE etc.,
ii) M. Tech in Bioinformatics or Computer Science
Desired Skills: Prior experience on database and web server development, Computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics and algorithmic development is required. Sound knowledge on any one of the programming languages (e.g. Java, C, C++, perl, python) and statistical framework (e.g. R, matlab, etc.) is highly desirable. Prior experience on data-mining, relational database system, web design and development is must for applicants from computer science. Basic understanding of molecular biology for non-biological sciences degree holders will be an added advantage.
